Many fitness centers are mushrooming across the cities along with the increased disposable income; many of us land at the lobby of one of them where our budget fits, and start to work out. But, the fact is many of these boutiques are not making enough money to survive. The reasons are plenty, but the prominent threat they face is competition and there is nothing special to offer in a fitness center. Most of the woman reaches there for reducing weight while males are there to build muscles. Both tasks are challenging and most of the fitness centers offer all these.
Marketing and promotion of a fitness center should be tactical and one should look at social media to market these firms. There are plenty of reasons, and one of them is local clientele, fitness centers get local clients only not anyone far from the city comes unless it is famous for status and class or unique service none else offers.
First of all, as a marketing strategy, the fitness center should decide a class for themselves and for the institution and offer admission only those who fit in that class. Pricing should again suit that class and culture. Some members will find the low price for less quality and standard. Especially fitness centers are five-star businesses. One should market and communicate to the local potential members with offers that would motivate them to come to your center can be for networking, and meeting high-class people; this is alluring. The trainers and other members, even the people sitting at the cash counter and lobby should be sophisticated enough to relate the institution's culture and member's class. If both are at par with each other you can fill your fitness center with more members and it will grow with friends and other networks of your member slowly.
Content and communication should convey the culture and the energy of the fitness center. Social media platforms can play the vital role than the print and outdoor media. When selecting fitness center people never go for distance but class, convenience, besides the culture of the company,

How can a low budget client/product create an effective and impressive Brand - in an affordable way?


You have launched a shoe making company and designed many new trendy models of shoes which fit the young generation, but the youngsters are after the global Brands and your shoes are not hot for them, how can you make your Shoes a reputed  and recognized Brand in the Market? A serious question you may ask...!


Today, many entrepreneurs are venturing into new business models than appearing for repeated interviews for a job these days, the trend is changing and new companies are appearing and manufacturing many products. Choose well the fonts that communicate your Brand Philosophy, it can be cool, hot, horror - like Harry potter- please remember, the Crime thriller fonts are different from romantic fonts...every font has a link to some kind of emotion and feelings...

After that, design a communication channel and message, for Print ads, Electronic media, and Social media...the engaging message will do wonder...make sure that your message is precise and to the point, besides entertaining and intelligent...none want to read a boring ad in the magazine..something very common these days, copied ads are filled in the Indian Market and the content on the social media platforms that repeats hundred times for SEO bores everyone...it bored your potential customers, believe me. Repetition may be good for Search engines to find you when they crawl, but, it will bore your intelligent and sensitive costumes...they need something new like you order different dishes for your lunch and dinner...heart needs fresh messages that mesmerize...robots don't..so SEO strategy is good but take the liking of your customers...first.

The frequency of communication and the helping model communication will be appealing on social media, just don't go there to ask "buy my stuff". Create slogans that people love to read and talk about...
Launch fresh models every six months, that would give you to give a fresh communication opportunity and ask the people to come again to try...and  try again.

As a post-retirement plan I want to launch a milk marketing or sales outlet.

I am going to retire, I have some savings too, as a post-retirement plan I want to launch a milk marketing or sales outlet. How can I promote my business? Please, advice.

Sir,
First of all, I don’t have any idea in which city you live in. I am not going to give you any city specific information, instead, I will give you generic tips that you may find useful.

First, of you should know that the milk business does not give that much margin to survive unless you have a mass clientele. Many city-based milk marketing companies are owned completely or partially by the government. You won’t have such big network and Milk marketing is a time-bound business as the product is coming under perishables.
Freezing cost you more.

What about pure cow milk? Many customers really are looking for. What about you rear some milking cows and deliver fresh milk against orders. This will do wonder from udder to doorstep slogan will give boost and you will grow faster. Most probably the homes having children will give you more business.

Advertising in the nearest cinema Halls and cable TV operators can also help you out. Newspaper insert and slowly expanding your network to many colonies with the help of a small call center will do wonder.

I am a retired professional and want to start a new business.

I am a retired professional and want to start a new business. I have some savings, but, many options in front of me have so many competitors in the market. Many people I have interviewed are not making a living out of it. So, I decided to start a food outlet that delivers food to the doorstep. Can you suggest some promotional options I can choose to improve my business?

Food business is a good option. Demand for food will never go down. What you have to do is a unique category which others can’t imitate faster and you will have the ability to meet the demand.
For creating demand you have to communicate to the right target group and meet their taste.

I would suggest you to start a plate size big burger…call it as lunch Burger…that would fill the stomach and low priced. If the prize and taste are attractive none will stop you in the market/
Now you need promotion.
Since the food business is a local business you will have to depend on the Local TV channel, the potential of TV channel to give you image and reach no other medium can deliver.

Social media, on facebook you can post comments and humor; post food humor as extended posting. Besides all these you can choose ads on facebook.

Create a loyal community asking them to like your facebook page for 20% discounts. Ask people to come with a flavor you can accommodate. Once you launch you should ask feedback, if the votes are more go ahead with the flavor. Keep on adding more dishes, and more often come with unique party dishes.

Newspaper inserts with coupon and SMS with coupon codes will get you more crowd.

Let me know the progress after 6 months.

My business is exporting Tee shirts. These days the business is very dull. I am thinking to shift to a new business where I expect to thrive at the same time required only less investment as I don’t have that much money left with me. Can you suggest something?

Sir,
The export market is dull as there is war in the Middle East and recession in the European region. The US market might have recovered but, look at China, it is shifting from export economy to consumer economy.

Now, the demand will increase for food related items in the African region as the economy in this area is picking up. So I would suggest you to shift to some consumer items and basic food products that you can export to the African region.

The Middle East and the EU will not wake up as the war will continue for long years. Now it is almost 16 years ever since the US invaded Iraq. The war condition is worsening.

The rare metal business like Copper and Gold will have a huge demand for import to India too. Another product and Business opportunity is trying to manufacture automobile parts; even small parts will have a huge demand in future. What about to become a vendor of small parts of Defense Industry. Collaborate with some foreign firms to supply parts to big arms manufacturing companies. All these will have good demand. Online education is a promising sector as the educational world is merging into a small village. Free flow of knowledge is the need of the hour.
