#IVT News: I am thinking to start an e-commerce outlet for Fashion

Dear VBS,

 My objective is to be an entrepreneur, and I am thinking to start an e-commerce outlet for Fashion verticals. But, my budget very low and so far I couldn’t find any financial help or investors to fund me. Could you please help me to get some publicity within my shoestring budget limit?

E-Com mania is getting tamed and mellowed slowly now. The investors are cautious and they don’t invest that much initial investment in any stat ups so soon. Those start-ups swallowed a lot of money have yet to show any sign profit, most probably profit for them far from reality. Let us talk about a leading Indian e-coms. How many of them are making profits? As far as I know the latest one declared loss of around Rs.40-50 Crore and their revenue-sale increased up to around Rs.1000 Cr.

According to me, a business, not a business unless it makes some profit; Paying discount to buy a product; that is again under priced for whatever may the means of income or source giving away is not justifiable.

However, I will suggest you to use free tools and platforms to popularize your new venture. Start with a short film on social media, and still poster on Pinterest on all fashion products you sell. On and off run a quiz competition for the target audience again on the free platforms to get a community you are looking for. Once your products are attractive and you have loyal customer base the road ahead will be smooth.

Ask the public to submit a design they want to buy. Launch a few of them you select and give some prize to those who submit the designs. Your good will increase as you are engaging the end consumer from the designing level itself instead of asking them to buy what You sell.

Do not venture into print ad because there are many TV channels you can rely on low cost with better reach and visibility. Radio is an option, but I found many FM channels are costlier than TV programs. But, TV programs get you better mileage than an FM channel.

I am going to launch a Coffee outlet in the heart of the city. My publicity budget is minimal and I have a long-term ambition to create a network of Coffee shops in every major city. How can I run a low budget campaign?

First of all, you have not mentioned in which city you will kick start your maiden venture, but I am sure the coffee outlets including Star Bucks make at least 50 lac rupees per annum loss. They may be selling more …the margin is far off from their reach.

Let us start with pre-launch Hoardings and SMS and start early Social media with photos of the Brand ad Cups with hot coffee...

Start some promotional offers for the first one month. Run, a few low budget events for the youngsters.

What about Radio ads in the city?

I also believe that the world community has done injustice to you on behalf of Israel…a grave mistake!!!…

I admit on behalf of the world community that invasion into Iraq and killing …millions dropping bombs were serious blunder and injustice to you…

I plead guilty on behalf of the world community again that - who is the world community –and the west to write, rules for you?  Because it you who decide whether you have to be ruled by Koranic versus or democracy…the west has no business in it…who are they to decide whether you have to be ruled by a dictator or democracy…democracy may not world with every culture and believes…

I confess on behalf of the world that, you are like the silk worm…the possession of oil made you the world’s largest victims …of covert war and injustice.

I believe the foreign forces stationed in your Holy city should be withdrawn…

I confess again that you are not waging any war against China or Vietnam...your war is very focused against those who have done injustice against your Holy-land and your religion and you…it hurt you so much…your heart bleeding and yourself respect deeply wounded….you need a solution that would uphold your right, dignity and self respect..Your demand is genuine….

Now, let us have a dialogue… the blind support on Israel by the west should end immediately. So that the Islamic world can live with self respect.

Now, the west has to stop covert war and installing puppet government, to get access to Russian territory...easily… for spying and cover war…

While you are fighting for yourself respect and religious belief let us open a dialogue …this will give your next generation a change to live peacefully…I  don’t ask you drop arms immediately…but let us have a dialogue to have a solution that would let you drop arms and live with dignity…

Caution against France

France is cautioned to refrain from dropping bombs on ISIS or others in the middle east...as a revenge….even if you drop the last bomb in your arms depot or the last bullet is shot from your gun…you are not going to eliminate this warriors ..Because you(along with the west) have insulted them so much and blindly supported any none sense Israel done…

Come forward and confess...if France will start bombing tomorrow…you may be able to kill some of their warriors but a millions will join them the next day.. The situation may gravitate….better join the dialogue..

Let us hear their voice and concern too…so long as China and Russia sell weapons in the black market …so long as narcotics fetch millions…so long as …the world refuse confess for the grave mistakes and injustice done to the Islamic believers..and apologize ….this war will not end….let us have a dialogue…

Laptop with inbuilt Data Card

I was wondering why can’t the Laptop makers come out with a laptop that has got an inbuilt socket for SIM card like Mobile or Tablet. It would be easy for the user to use the Laptop instead of depending on the external Data Card. Many places and libraries where security reason is highlighted to not to allow data card /pen drive it will be a relief for the user. But, inbuilt SIM card inside the Laptop may be solution.
